Hurricane Katrina well and truly screwed the lid down on the pressure cooker formerly known as the New Orleans Superdome. More than a weather event, its after-effects stirred intense fear, desperate loss and escalating menace. 

Now, for the first time experience what life was like for those trapped inside the Dome.  The story from those inside the Dome has yet to be told. We look through the hole in the roof to see what really happened over that tragic week. Victims have faces, fears and life stories. This novel gives them voice, at last. 

Free people became inmates imprisoned by water, concrete and scarcity. Over four days that hothouse grew men from boys, women from girls, frightening themselves with their inner strengths and violent capabilities.

For others, their experience in the Dome inside the dome symbolized their life-long struggle. Four hundred years captured in four apocalyptic nights.

And yet from this same noxious field springs romance, humor, redemption and hope.
